Hand-carved from Knysna Yellowwood, each holder is completely unique in overall shape and arrangement of the facets. The hand-forged brass fitting accommodates standard taper candles and includes a small hole for incense sticks. The wood is meticulously sanded to a fine finish and treated with Danish Furniture Oil, enhancing its rich luster while preserving the natural wood grain. No two pieces are exactly alike, celebrating the ideals of Wabi Sabi, a Japanese aesthetic sensibility that finds beauty in imperfection.
