This is the 79 inch Walnut, built for rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, basements and spaces with a soffit. It turns a single wall into a full indoor playground: a 9-in-1 wooden Swedish ladder wall gym that gives toddlers a first climber and older kids real challenge, so the same wall keeps getting used for years. It mounts flat against the wall, leaving the rest of the room free.

Montessori Movement at Home

Designed with Montessori values in mind, the Walnut lets children choose their own route, test their limits and build strength, coordination and sensory awareness at their own pace. It suits toddlers from 1 year old through the pre-teen years, with an adult nearby for younger climbers.

Premium New Zealand Pine

The Walnut is crafted from FSC-certified New Zealand pine rather than the plastic or particle board used by many other brands. It holds up to 220 pounds per person and 500 pounds in total, so siblings can play together and adults can use it for stretching and exercise.

Tested for Safety

The Walnut is tested to ASTM and CPSIA safety standards, with no sharp edges, no finger traps and a BPA-free varnish. Every Walnut is covered by our five-year warranty. For hard floors, add a padded mat under the climbing area.

Size and Height

The 79 inch Walnut stands 78.8 inches tall, 78.7 inches wide and about 25.7 inches deep, extending to 65.3 inches with the slide attached. Have a ceiling of about 8 feet or more? Choose the 95 inch Walnut for more climbing height.

Secure Wall Mounting

The Walnut bolts into your wall studs and is built to stay put through years of daily climbing. Most families finish assembly in an afternoon or two, and it is easiest with two adults. The manual and assembly video are linked on this page.

Regular or Modular

The regular Walnut has a fixed layout. The Walnut Modular splits into three interchangeable panels (Swedish ladder, rock wall and rope wall) that can be installed in any order, across multiple walls or around a corner, and expanded with extra panels.
